They need to get the correct people in there and the people don't do their job. They don't clean and don't do what they are supposed to. Their stability could be better and there is way too much turnover.

It is good company for her, and I can leave her at home and do some shopping and errands. She has fallen and injured in the past and having someone here is giving me peace of mind. The people we have gotten from them have been very good, and they keep us well-informed. They are cooperative to work with and have been fine.

Everybody has been very understanding and have experience. I've done that. I think one thing they can improve is working on their paperwork. My daughter had an issue where her tax information wasn't recorded.

They could have had employees better qualified, they would send a new employee speaking highly of them, but they did not live up to expectation. Improve the quality of the employees.

It is an extra set of eyes on my mother. They help her when she gets up sometimes. Depends on my mom. I am able to get other things done. They can have more consistency with people.

They communicate very well if somebody misses a shift, they tell us about it and try to get a replacement as soon as possible. I like that they do their best to try to provide coverage.

I need someone. If the person who was supposed to come could not come, they would try to get me someone in a few days. Other companies would just forget. I like the people at Home Helpers. Lily who comes now is very helpful.

The home care place that we have dealt with in the past is a local one called Home Helpers. They actually are the ones we have chosen to use again. They actually helped my husband when he needed some temporary home care. So that is how we became aware of them. They actually helped him with some in-home nursing for the time he was home. I'm familiar with them because a very dear friend of mine used them also for home nursing visits. We got to kind of know them. I know that Home Helpers are more than just local, but they seem local to us. I would recommend them. They are knowledgeable and very well organized. The nursing care was great. I only needed them for a week because I was going to be gone. I needed them to come in to do the things that I was doing for my husband until I returned. It was basically just wound care that I needed help with. I like the fact that whenever possible, they try to match what the provider gender that you are comfortable with. I definitely do recommend them. I would encourage everybody locally that needs that kind of service to give them a call. They are very easy to work with, and they provide professional care.

I only needed them for a few months and they did an excellent job. I would call them whenever I needed them to send someone to hangout with mom. She had home aides, therapists and nurses from Home Helpers. They have been a great help. She liked her aides, Susie and Eddie, because they were both older and were comfortable to be with. Susie would bring her special cookies and stuff she bakes. They accommodate her and she really enjoyed their company. She also had a younger aide, Jaime, who was wonderful but mostly they didn't click together. Mom was not feeling good because of medical issues but Jaime would make sure mom had her showers. She would call me at work and keep me informed with everything that happened. Everybody that comes here from Home Helpers always does an excellent job. They were really good to my mother.
