I like that the office workers or caregivers of Right at Home are not rude. The lady I've got today, Keysha, is very quiet, but we get along fine. I've been using Right at Home for three or four years now. I have a caregiver Monday through Friday, five hours a day. They do light housekeeping, they help me with bathing and washing my hair, just the normal stuff. The last month, I've had sporadic caregivers, only because some of them are in college and I have to work around with their scheduling. They need to improve on their staffing, but my caregiver is a good one. I'm an extrovert and she's an introvert. She's too quiet for me, but we get along fine.

We've been using Right at Home for a few months now. I like that they work with me when my husband has doctors' appointments and we can move things around. I love my worker because she's willing to work with me to help me get things straightened out. My husband has to be taken by an ambulance, so we can't re-switch the appointments around. She'll re-switch and she'll make it convenient for me for when I need to get him to the doctor or whatever and she's really good with him. She does what she needs to do and she's great. We use her four times a week, three hours a day through the VA. They pair you up with someone who's compatible with you and your situation. They work really good with you. When we have change of plans, which it can happen at any time, they are patient and they work with me on trying to get it situated to where we can get the caregiver back in here for the times we need her. Also, when I call in and I speak to the people there in the office, they spend time. They've been really willing to work with us also, and they've got a warm greeting. It doesn't make you feel like you're trying to mess them up or something. They're flexible also with me.

My mother receives caregiver services through Right at Home. We couldn't be more pleased with the service she receives. She has a caretaker that is basically assigned to her so she is always familiar with my mother, knows what her needs are. This is beneficial also for my mother. She feels more comfortable with the same staff rather than a rotating staff. Summer is always on time, eager to help in any way and is always good to inform me on how her day went. She is also very knowledgeable on my mother's diagnosis, knows what to expect and how to react/handle situations that may arise. If I need to change mom's schedule with her caretaker, Right at Home is great to adjust it quickly, often with short notice.
