Kindred provided hospice care for my best friends mother while in Care at a Seniors facility. My best friend passed away leaving me to act as guardian for her mother. I was incredibly impressed with the services of Kindred Hospice - they called me weekly (to Canada where I live) to report on my wards health and how she was doing. It was also great to have a 3rd party checking in, not that I had any problems with the care facility, more that it gave a different face for her to see. As my friends mother was Japanese they sent her cards in Japanese regularly. I could call and talk to the nursing staff at any time about concerns that I had and I felt like an active participant in her care. As she was departing this world they facilitated a call to her brother in Japan in order for him to speak to her one last time. After her passing they have provided grief support to me which has been awesome. Kindred Hospice has been a blessing in providing client centric care and I am very thankful that they were able to facilitate for me such a peaceful passing for a lady I respected for over 50 years, who was so dedicated to her daughter and my best friend.
