I've been using Seniors Helping Seniors Shoreline, WA, for two months now, and it's been great. We've been really happy with it. What I needed was someone to come hang out with my husband, who has Alzheimer's, and just to have more social interaction because I work a lot. Dorothy has been coming for three hours a week, and they go out and they do stuff. Sometimes they stay home and clean. Their services are a wide range. It basically can be like respite care for me, and then also whatever for him. Mostly, they go out and get coffee or take a walk or do something. It's been great. It is three hours a week, but I'm probably going to increase it soon. They're really responsive. When I first contacted them, they made an appointment. They came over and talked to us and set up, tried to figure out what we needed and what we wanted, and they found someone who matched very well with my husband. Age-wise and interest-wise, it's really a good fit. I've been really happy.

We used the services of Seniors Helping Seniors Shoreline for my husband. The caregivers were very nice, and the person who came and did the interview was very helpful. I was stressed and freaking out, I guess that's the correct way to put it, and she did what she could fast and quick. They provided me with two very nice and professional caregivers. I felt comfortable going to appointments and going to the store, leaving my husband here with them. They do the picking up, clean some of the dishes, give him lunch, do some laundry, and do light cleaning.

I am using Seniors Helping Seniors Shoreline, WA for my wife. The caregiver gets along with my wife. She's energetic. She's been helping me with many things that I can't do. She's doing great. She helped with cleaning, showering, hygiene, and providing companionship. It gives me a chance to get out of the house. She came over to the house and explained everything to me, and we talked about how to do the billing. She said she'd get back to me, but she hasn't yet. The gals showed up two days a week on time, so everything's great.

I am using Seniors Helping Seniors Shoreline, WA for my cousin. We just had a new caregiver, so the first one was delightful, but she wasn't certified as to how much care my cousin needed. So we just got a new caregiver this week and she's delightful. They are helping him basically with household chores, like laundry, meals, and when he needs help getting dressed. He doesn't always, but he just has good days and bad days, so she's able to help with that and do household cleaning. As for scheduling and billing, it's very good.
