Do Not Use this Service

If you care anything at all about your loved one or family member, please do not register with Bon Secours Hospice. There services, bedside manner and overall lack of attention to care is subpar to say the least. They do not offer any assistance and when you contact them they are rude, abrupt in answering questions and condescending when answering questions related to care and assistance. My sister is in Hospice with this group and is NOT receiving adequate care or services. Every time we’ve contacted the Nurse, her attitude is the worse of any RN I’ve ever encountered. Her name I believe is Ellen and then we’ve also had Jessica or Jennifer to come out to the house. One of their responses when contacted while we were trying to obtain help with our family member who was continuously vomiting and they said “well you know she is dying right”. Who gives that statement when you are distressed with the situation and cannot help or comfort your family member? I am so disgusted with their service and lack of care that I would not recommend them to anyone and furthermore will be contacting the BBB to file a complaint which I’m sure they must be used to getting because of their attitude and service.

My father is in Bon Secours Hospice now. They are great and they do the home health, the medical care, spiritual care and palliative care. The person who comes in is very caring, beyond routine, and very personable. They've been with me from the beginning and I'm pleased with them. They met my needs.

I am so disappointed with thier service. They offer very little in the way of giving you the knowledge you need to help your loved one. They act like your bothering them when you call, and they don't want to come out at night. Messed up medications, and them blamed us. I have dealt with hospice in new york when my brother was at the end. They were wonderful, they let you know what to expect,and you could call them anytime of the day or night. No matter what the need they were there, and you felt like they were an extension of the family. Not Bon Secours hospice, your fortunate if they call back, and one minute thier making you believe your loved one is at deaths door, the next their saying that they could linger for years. No direct answers to your question. I feel very much in the dark. I will be looking for another hopice.
