We did have Home Hospice in the last six months, and I was not happy with them at all. They really were not there for us when my husband went into a coma on Sunday. Monday was Labor Day, and we were told that if it wasn't an emergency, nobody would be out that day. Nobody came on Monday and Tuesday, and one of my caregivers called them on Wednesday. We had a nurse come who started to take his blood pressure and then took it off and said he's not letting her take it, but he was in a coma. He had not responded since Saturday night. I didn't understand why she couldn't get anything on him. She didn't talk to us at all about what was going on with him. I don't know how to ask questions, and she was basically just talking about other stuff that wasn't even about him. I was not happy with that. After she left, she didn't even call me. They did not come out on Thursday and Friday. My caregiver called and a different nurse came out, and she was actually really good. She was the best that came out with that one day. She did the declaration of death. I was highly disappointed with them.
