Dr. Knebl is an exceptional physician, the clinic however, is absolutely unreal. Expect to wait 20-60 minutes for someone to simply answer the phone. I have waited as long as 2 HOURS just to talk to a human! When you finally get a human, don't expect to get any results. I have been waiting 10 days to simply have the doctor complete a form to allow the memory care facility to admit my mother. The request has been faxed to them 4 times and hand delivered once. The only "reason" they have given is that the 4th request had a mistake on the form. I asked what happened to the other 4 requests, they simply refused to answer. I was already under an massive amount of stress from caring for an Alzheimer's patient 24/7, along with making the emotional decision to admit her, UNT Geriatrics was the final straw that reduced me to a sobbing lunatic. The memory care arranged with another physician to schedule an emergency appointment the following morning and we walked out with the necessary form. I don't know if the office staff is incompetent or or if they just simply don't care. If anyone should know how hard Alzheimer's is on caregivers, it should be these medical "professionals".
