An aging parent is something nobody looks forward to having to manage. Believe me when I tell you, stop calling other agencies, you've found the best home care service possible right here in Nurse Next Door out of Elgin. I've never worked with a more compassionate, caring and approachable group of women. Their empathy for my mom and willingness to help anywhere they could was impressive. We've had to move my mom back to Mass because of the Covid 19 scare, and I am struggling to find a viable service that will just answer their phone! The NND team from Elgin has set the bar very high!

We hired Nurse Next Door for my parents-in-law, and we've been using them for two months. They come and cook, clean, and help them with anything they need. The caregiver we have is great. We chose them because they're paid for through the VA. Billing goes through the VA and we get records of it all. Scheduling has been pretty good. The girl we're working with right now is fantastic and we really like her a lot. It took a little time to get the right person but once we found her and kept requesting her, we're fighting to keep her.

We were very pleased with Nurse Next Door. The coordinator came out to see me to discuss what our needs were, and she told me the service they could provide. They provide us with companionship care, and I would recommend them to others. It wasn't long at all for them to find us a caregiver. The caregiver comes in on days when I have a commitment for a while outside of the house. They do exercise and light housekeeping. She's done well. They send us a bill every two weeks.
