My wife is in late stage frontotemporal dementia. She is unable to communicate verbally requiring 24/7 total care. Home Care Assistance came in being strangers and took the time to get to know how she normally does things. There were no calls when I travelled out of town. When I returned two days later, I found my wife happy and well cared for. I was impressed with their abilities and experience.

After getting out of the hospital my mother needed someone to stay with her while I was working. The caregiver we received was amazing. She made sure that she continued my mother's physical therapy when the therapist wasn't there. She prepared healthy meals and helped get my mother's diabetes under control. Now she is no longer taking medication for it! She went over and above and I appreciate everything Home Care Assistance has done for us.

I would tell a friend that Home Care Assistance gave us an excellent caregiver. Home Care Assistance has made life easier because the caregiver takes a load of stress off of me when she is here.

I think that the caregivers from Home Care Assistance need better training. They come here and sit. Some of them have actually taken my father out and tried to get him exposed to senior centers, but more caregivers need to try and engage him within their physical abilities. I appreciate having someone here with my father while I am at work.

I contacted Home Care Assistance and they bent over backwards to meet my needs. They exceeded my expectations. My mother was quite ill for a while, and Home Care Assistance was able to find someone for us that met our specific needs.
