The client is way better after having the home care. The caregiver has had a positive impact because she does activities with him. She is always making sure he is walking here and there, and she brings activities for him like painting that he loves. She brings activities for his memory too, and he likes that too. I really like the person that comes and the fact that she speaks Spanish. She always brings new things for the client to do. At first, home care was something he didn't want because he was scared of it, but now, he really likes having home care. They provide a lot of good things for him and have been really helping him.

I wanted to know what all was provided by this agency and they came here with an outline of it but it was not what my insurance company had said I could have as per their instructions. I had to call my insurance company and have them call right at home to get it set straight. The caregiver Mary was excellent she was helpful caring professional and an all-around great person. I did not need assistance on a weekly basis just yet and Right at Home was willing to adjust to what my needs were, which was to be just placed on a call list instead of having someone drop in once a week. The person who came to my home and interviewed me was very responsive and she had an understanding of what I needed at this point. I gave the caregiver my medical and personal information and I have a call-in on a daily basis from another source, but when I respond that I'm having a problem, then the first agency they call is Right at Home. The main thing is that they were willing to customize their service, which means that my name is in their database, I can call them during an emergency, and then I get charged only at that point.

Lisa is a Godsend. She is kind, caring and has the patience of a saint. She takes my mother to the doctor's appointments and acts as an interpreter as my mother is deaf. If my mom isn't feeling well she goes for groceries. In other words, Lisa is wonderful. I can relax and feel confident that I can go about my own doctor's appointments. She's really great. She calls me all the time to check in.
