The employees were all caring individuals. The office / management does not communicate well with the clients. I was unsure how many visits a week my mother would receive I was unsure what time of day the visit would be occurring and I didn't always know who would be coming. I realize plans fail but I still expect a phone call when someone gets sick and won't be coming at all. If the daily caregiver is not coming then I need to substitute for those services. I need to know that as quickly as possible. I do not expect to call at 1:00 in the afternoon and be told oh that person left sick earlier in the morning and I have yet to be notified. At one point I was told visits would be increased but it never happened. Getting supplies available in the house seem to be an issue. I was told I would not have to buy anything going forward, but I did. I still needed to purchase a cleansing calls to clean my mother I'm changing her multiple times a day and at one point I came very close to running out of diapers. I wouldn't say don't employ them because they're people are good, but I would say you're going to have to nag them for information.

Compassus Allentown did very well for us. I'm a thousand miles away from them when my mom passed away, but I never had any complaints about it. They kept in contact with me and my mom said that she was happy. They'd come in to give her a bath, took care of her in the morning, and got her up and around. My family was pretty comfortable. Mom needed a wheelchair and they got her one real fast. I'm pretty satisfied.
