This is a great hospice group. They provide great care. The nurse is always kind and supports my family with great compassion. I will use them again when we need care for my Dad.

When initially signing up for hospice they were very nice after that it was a terrible experience. They delivered the equipment just fine and all at once. But everything else went bad. The nurse didn't show up when expected. Wanted to "dispose" of medication by dumping it in toilet. Said she wanted to replace his rxs with only theirs. He couldn't take rest of his medication. Heart pills and blood pressure pills etc. They wouldn't help with feedings or anything that sustains life we were on our own to do those things. It was just horrible. When he fired them it took better than 30 days for them to relinquish his medicare services so he could get his prescriptions filled. Don't get gentiva hospice. That was all in February and he is still going strong without hospice but almost time to get a hospice provider back. Don't know where to go next. Surely not Gentiva.

Not happy with Gentiva. Communication between staff is very poor. Looking elsewhere.
