I needed a home health aide on short notice to assist with my post-surgery recovery at home. "Visiting Angels" was recommended by the hospital and Stacey, the manager of "Visiting Angels", made this happen quickly and seamlessly. The home visiting aide, Tiffany, was also very competent and extremely caring. I would highly recommend this agency.

Visiting Angels of New Jersey changed our lives. My mother had become increasingly home-bound and no matter how much assistance my brother and I offered, she was combative and resistant to her children taking care of her. Still it was clear she could not care for herself. I called Visiting Angels and within the week we had a scheduled interview with a home-care worker based on our needs. From the start we knew we were dealing with experienced and compassionate professionals. Maria, the Certified home health aide, was very sensitive to my mother's feelings and concerns. She was clear and direct about her role without being pushy or overbearing. She immediately put my mother at ease and by the end of our first meeting our mom was eager to see Maria again and eager for her to start the following week, doing light housework, grocery shopping, etc. What a turnaround! The peace of mind we had was invaluable. What we appreciated most about the agency was not just the services provided by their Home Health Aides (which can be done by many people) but the quality and professionalism of the workers they refer. Our contacts by phone and mail with the agency were always clear and quickly answered, and the staff people have always been thoughtful and eager to resolve problems.
