The environment here was extremely welcoming, with the facility itself seeming more like a home away from home then a strict hospital environment. The staff were all very helpful and in my Uncle's final days they explained the breathing patterns he was experiencing, what they meant, etc. Although it was a sobering experience, they set me as well as other family members at ease with their knowledge and explanations. If we ever needed anything, they would be there at a moments notice. As for amenities, there was a kitchen available to all visitors, a family room with a tv and piano, and a beautiful outdoor walking area. Overall, it was a fine experience despite the obvious sadness that came with alongside it.
