Extremely disappointed with the lack of compassion shown to my parents. While my mother was receiving out patient therapy for a broken hip and shoulder, My dad was diagnosed and died from stage 4 lung cancer within 45 days. Scheduling was a nightmare because they did not want to come to the Westbank where my parents lived except on certain days and times because it was not convenient for them. (Their words, not mine). The Nurse that visited my mother said I was not taking good care of my mother because there was an unmade bed in one the bedrooms that my mother never even went into on any day. (I was at the hospital with my Dad on one of his 4 hospital stays...how dare I leave an unmade bed?!?). My mother went to stay with her sister for a week to get her mind off of my Dad's passing and today (The day she returned) we get a call stating that even though we have a written prescription for therapy, it was 'NOT WORTH THEIR WHILE" to come out any longer. (Not kidding). The only thing that I can say is that if their parents are ever in the same position that mine were in that I sincerely hope and pray that they receive the same care as my parents did. You reap what you sow. RUN, DON'T WALK AWAY FROM THIS AGENCY!!!!!!!!!!! RUN.
