Bayou Home Care is an EXCELLENT Home Heath Agency that helps to care for my mother in my home. It is an agency that provides quality care in a compassionate professional manner. It provides 24 hrs. of services, and has been there for mom and me on this difficult journey at every beckoning call, day or night. Bayou Home Care is an agency that has a staff that has bed-side manners, respect, knowledge compassion, punctuality, consistency, quality training, and teamwork. My mom is in the hands of a staff who truly cares and has her health and well-being at best interest. Because of ALL of what Bayou Home Care has done and is continuing to do, I recommend it HIGHLY and wouldn't trade for ALL the money in the world! HATS OFF TO BAYOU HOME CARE! Bayou Home Care is absolutely one of the GREATEST Home Health Agencies in existence. I say this due to firsthand experience. Seeking assistance for my mom allowed me the opportunity to network with several different agencies before making a decision. During the screening process, without a doubt, Bayou Home Care provided and met the necessary criteria that would be required for taking care the needs of an Alzheimer/Dementia patient. The staff is very compassionate, polite, and considerate of the patient/family's needs, and puts forth every effort in making sure all needs are taken care of in a timely manner. The staff always calls 2-3 days before a visit, checks meds/vitals every visit, inquires and offers informative information on how to handle various situations as or should something arises, makes a courtesy call every holiday/birthday to check on my mom and the family, and is very consistent with providing the much needed care that is required. To the utmost, this agency demonstrates TEAMWORK, PROFESSIONALISM, COMPASSION, RESPECT, INTELLIGENCE, and is very KNOWLEDGIBLE in the field of its profession. This is an agency like none other, in that the staff comes at a beckoning call any time of day or night. I wouldn't trade Bayou Home Care for ALL the gold at Fort Knox. Hats off to Bayou Home Care and THANKS for ALL that they do. May God continue to endow this agency with the LOVE, UNDERSTANDING, KNOWLEDGE and COMPASSION that it has for others!
