Hospice of the Bluegrass is an exceptional organization. They provided every service necessary for the comfort and well-being of my husband who was dying of lung cancer. The nurses, social workers, and caregivers were top notch. They were available 24 hours a day and returned phone calls within 15 mintues. My husand had a hospital bed, bedside potty, oxygen, diapers and all his medications provided for free. The only things I had to purchase were the sets of hospital bed sheets which I donated back to hospice after my husband passed away. They provided me with information about every step in the dying process which was a great comfort for me and my family. I can't begin to thank them for the exceptional services they provided. They are awesome!!!

My father stayed in Hospice of the Bluegrass for hospice care. They had a program where there is no cost to the patients like for those who have terminal illnesses. They helped so many people. They put an electronic pill dispenser in his room that would alarm to remind him to take his medicines. Nurses would come and see him two or three times a week and made sure that everything were going okay. There are therapists and doctors that go and check on their patients and none of that cost the family anything. They were beyond fantastic.
