SouthernCare is helping me with my wife at home. They're doing a good job so far, and they're friendly. They were the first ones I talked to. I had calls from them and then I had them come in. The 1st week, it was just initial stuff and then last week and this week, they started with the care, so it's been three weeks with them. They send a nurse and a nurse's aide, and those are the services that they provide right now. They're just there if I need them. So far, I'm still doing everything, but they're providing the equipment and supplies. As we get further along in this stage, they'll get more involved with her care. They handle the medication now. I chose them because I liked their people, and they're the first ones I talked to, so I just went with them. The caregivers are excellent so far. They're not doing anything other than visiting and checking, but it's mainly because I'm doing everything. I'm not ready to give it to them. I don't need any help yet, but we're starting to get things in place when I do. They're spending time with her, so she could get to know them and be a little bit more familiar with them for when they start to get a little more involved with her care. They've been great.
