"LivHOME is very good, caring, quite flexible, and worked hard to assign somebody that really works well with our family. I like their professionalism and privacy policies. Even if there is someone in the neighborhood they are caring for, they don't speak about it. When they came to interview us, they didn't have advertisements on their car, so noone in the neighborhood would know. They are very sensitive to their clients' privacy, which was huge for me. I use them one day a week for now, but they know that as my husband's condition progresses, I plan to use them more. I have asked them a couple of times to change the day, and they were very happy to do that for us. They've been very flexible with my schedule and I appreciate that. Only one caregiver comes in every time. They walk the dog together, and my husband is very comfortable with her. The management is fine. The cost is a little less than some of the other agencies and more than some, but I thought that it was very fair. They've been very good about handling the billing and keeping me updated. I sign all the timesheets for the caregiver, and I read what they write on their reports. "

They are extremely competent, reliable, train their wonderful caregivers very well, always provide coverage, communicate effectively w/me and my family, are very committed to their clients. They provided 24/7 care for me, including watching me in my bedroom, for several months post a huge spinal surgery. They supported me in phasing out their services when I was able. For me, safety was their number one priority. They needed to do a lot of (successful) education with me and, many months later, I have not had a fall that involved my mobility, a record for me. They taught me to eat again, patiently changed an unending series of diapers until my bowel function came back on line, set my place up for me so that I could safely eat, sit, do PT etc. They provided some equipment when I needed it, including a bed rail and a commode. They even went the extra mile by providing transportation for my big surgeon's appointment in another city! The caregivers will run an errand for coffee cream if safe to do so!
