"I ended up using Sea Crest, and my mom has recovered so now she no longer needs the care. The actual nursing service was very good. The ancillary services like physical therapy and speech were somewhat inconsistent -- a lot of changing of appointments -- so I wasn’t overly satisfied with that part, but the nursing care was great. "

Our neighbor recommended Westcliff Nurses, after they had a CNA care for their grandmother for over two years. We contacted the office, and S.lyvia was wonderful, answered all our questions, and help guide us on the appropriate level of care. She matched dad with a very experienced, personable caregiver. M. has been with dad for over 7 months now, and we couldn't be more pleased. Reliable, responsible, we've really noticed an improvement in his state of mind, and overall health. "I got my mom caretakers from AccentCare. It has only been four or five days. They have been coming in 7 days a week for 12 hours a day. During the week, it is the same person and then Friday, Saturday and Sunday, it is a different person, so my mom has two caretakers. So far, they're really good. They did everything they said they would. They had somebody the very next day after I called. I told them I needed somebody there who is outgoing and friendly because my mom is shy and quiet, and they accommodated perfectly. They're doing excellent. My mom is very happy. They could have a little better price, but they are really good."

"My husband has home health care from Care Dimensions. Their physical therapist is excellent, the visiting nurse is good, and the CNA is OK. They take time and are very courteous. The CNA is very courteous, although sometimes I have to remind her to do things because she doesn’t do a complete job. "

"This home care agency is part of Tri-City Hospital in Vista, CA. My mother was struck with rectal cancer which had metastasized to her lungs at the age of 83. Her primary care physician referred her to Tri-City for help with home care. This agency has a central place to coordinate several types of home care. Since it is hospital based, they are well staffed and easy to reach during regular business hours.In my mother's case, she received bathing assistance, physical therapy, and psychological therapy. Tri-City assigns you a case supervisor, who coordinates and oversees the various home health aides that come to your home. Appointments are pre-set by the agency, but they are flexible about rescheduling. Individual aides provide contact to them by cell phone. First appointments do require a reasonable amount of paperwork, particularly if you are a Medicare patient, which my mother was. A responsible party is required to sign for the care. Aides from this agency were extremely professional and caring. The case supervisor was very helpful and provided compassionate assistance in making good decisions for care. In my case, when hospice care became necessary, the case supervisor was instrumental in helping us make a smooth transition and obtain superb hospice care for my mother. An added benefit was the fact that some of the home care aides also worked with Tri-City Hospice and visited with my mother during her hospice care time. They are a compassionate group of people who are not afraid to challenge patients to get well, but have caring and concern for those who are terminally ill. I would recommend Tri-City Home Care for anyone seeking care for their loved ones. "

"I used the services of Horizon Valley Home Health Care. This one was out of Temecula. When I was sick with blood clots and had a bad wound on my leg, my blood pressure was sky high, so I had to have them come 3 times a week and change my bandage and do my blood pressure. I got better with them. They were wonderful. The nurse that they sent me took better care of me than my primary care physician. She did more for me in the short time she was here and I just loved her. The caregivers they sent me were both excellent. I was amazed because I was in a lot of pain and they went out of their way to give me an injection for the pain. It was horrible pain. My primary care doctor didn't even do that so they were wonderful. What I asked for, I got. The agency got me a locker, and a shower chair, and brought my meds for the wound. I had leg cuts because I kept getting blood clots. They explained to me where the wounds came from, and it was the blood clot in my leg. They caused a wound on the top of my foot and one on my calf that wouldn't heal. They tried one medication after the other until they got it figured out and I was just really pleased with the outcome. They were always here when they said they were going to be here. They were always on time. They had my bandages, I didn't even have to supply anything. After my surgery, when they took that artery out, I was cut from my groin down to my heel and it was really dramatic. They took great care of me and I was really pleased."
