I have my aunt at home from the hospital and we're having some marvelous home health care coming in through Tugaloo Home Health Care, an Amedisys Company. They're very good. They're good with her. We're seeing them about three times a week but I know it's going to end soon. With them, I'm able to have her here because they help me. What I need is someone that can come into the home and let me go do the things that I have to do to keep a home running like getting groceries or go to the pharmacy. We've had personal care like bathing and a home health aide who is marvelous and helped us get set up. We have a nurse that comes out, and she's down to once a week now. She was three times a week, and she's very skilled and very knowledgeable. She checks her vital signs. We also have physical therapy visits. We see the physical therapy ladies now twice a week. They're very knowledgeable and my aunt is gaining strength. We were in a bad situation when she came home. She couldn't move, and now she's up and walking. She uses her walker for stabilization, but more and more you see it kind of going to the side and my aunt being able to walk a little bit on her own. They're always concerned about what we have going on. They always make sure that we don't have a guest coming in or we have a doctor's appointment. They're very concerned with our schedule. My aunt doesn't like early morning times, so they're kind and they try to work with us on her schedule. She likes midday to afternoon because that's when she's able to function at her highest level.

Upset POA

I had knee replacement February 19, 2014. Tugaloo Home Health Care sent their in home caregivers to visit with me and start my in home therapy. I had a very bad reaction in the hospital to the anesthesia and wound up in the CCU in the Ronnie Green Heart Center at the NEGMC. IN spent 36b hours there to get stabilized. The day I came home was my first visit from the caregiver and they came as they were supposed to four weeks after until I was able to go to regular physical therapy. I have never been treated with such care and concern as I was with this agency. They were very patient with me and the problems I had after the surgery. My recovery was not a typical recovery due to many setbacks and complications and they handled it all with concern, care for me and my comfort and integrity. I recovered very nicely by the care I received from them. I am now almost 100% again thanks to the care I received. I would recommend theses people to anyone who is in need of home health care.
