The Grace of Harbor Grace

Towards the end of last year, my grandmother's health turned for the worst. She became very ill and the hospitals said they did all they could do. She was sent home, but was unable to take care of herself and my grandfather was unable to take care of her as well. She has 6 children, but all of which have families and careers, so the assistance of some outside facility was required. She was later placed in the Harbor Grace facility where she was to be relaxed and enjoy her final days of life. The faculty and staff there were such nice people, and were always there for support and any other form of assistance we requested. Although, I miss my grandmother with every bit of me, and it has been a hard road for me and my family, the presence of the Harbor Grace faculty throughout or journey with my grandmother helped to ensure my family and I that we were not alone. They truly helped to make the transition a tad less stressful, as they catered to her every need, thereby making us feel secure about having her stay in their care.
