Care Given at Home began providing affordable and compassionate non-medical home care and companion services in 2002, to seniors, people with special needs and individuals recuperating from illness or injury. We provide you or your loved one with reliable, affordable home care. Our Mission is to provide individuals with supervision and support, allowing them to maintain their dignity and independence, by continuing to live in the comfort of their own home for as long as possible. Our most important objective is the care and well-being of our clients. Our caregivers are extremely experienced in caring for clients who have Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and other neurological and memory disorders. Services our staff can provide include: Companionship and conversation Meal planning and preparation Light housekeeping Medication reminders Transportation Laundry Errands and shopping Personal care Change linens Correspondence Aid with reading Reminders for appointments Assist with pet care Respite for family caregivers You can count on the highest quality care from our companions, homemakers, personal care assistants, Certified Nurse Assistants and Home Health Aides. They provide non-medical care, customized to each individual’s needs, at personal residences, assisted living facilities, nursing homes and hospitals. For the safety of our clients, all caregivers are screened, insured, bonded and have mandatory background checks, assuring peace of mind for all of our clients. We provide hourly, overnight and 24- hour live-in services seven days a week. Assistance is also available for families in need of respite services. We take care of taxes, workers’ compensation, unemployment compensation and do not charge extra for weekends, but some holidays are billed at time and a half.
