Memorial Hospice assisted my 93 yr. old father the last 3 months of his life while he lived at an assisted care facility in Rohnert Park. I was very pleased with them overseeing his care. After he died, I attended one-on-one grief counseling, @ Memorial Hospice. It helped me "talk out" a lot of issues that had involved my family, as well as my loss. A year and two months later, my younger sister took her own life. Again, I sought Memorial Hospice's grief support services. Even though she had never been a patient, they saw me. They reach out to the community this way. Working through my grief, I decided to take their volunteer training. It was an extremely comprehensive, 32. hr., 8 wk. course. The level of healing has been tremendous. I am honored and privileged to volunteer with this amazing organization.
