We only had them for about 3 days a week and the impact was according to how often they could get the same person to help us. The caregivers could have had a greater impact if they had been trained more so they could actually accomplish the tasks without having to have a person continually helping them or telling them how to do it. I don't know if they do this or not, but I think maybe sometimes there's not enough training for when they do specific things like making beds and taking care of the kitchen when you need it.

They just need their caregivers to be more trained. They could be more sensitive to the clients and get the workers better trained on what the client needs as far as equipment and things they have problems with.

The caregiver that I enjoy so much was replaced by a brand new caregiver that I didn't know. It was hard because she was asking me all these questions, and I hadn't slept, but I needed to explain how I like things. The caregivers vary, and being 95, the changes are hard to handle.
