Hospice of The Valley was recommended by several people, including the doctors that we were using for my father-in-law that time. We thought they were great. Initially, they had a nurse who checked in three times a week, then once a week and then every time we needed her, she came. They had a personal care guy who came two to three times a week. He was great. When he passed, we called them. The doctor came and confirmed that he had passed. It's just that we were very pleased with them. Everybody was caring, compassionate, great with him and also great with us. I would absolutely recommend them to others.

I have to comment on the wonderful care given to my 97 year old friend who recently passed away under the care of the caring staff of this hospice. she was a surrogate grand mother to me and was so well cared for in her last days. staff were polite and attentive. they ensured that the staff at her assisted living facility had the knowldge and tools to make sure my friend's final days were comfortable and dignified. I have many dealings with healthcare professionals and would consider this hospice and their staff to be fisrt class. a big thank you !

DEVISTATED

THIS HAPPENS TO BE THE WORST HOSPICE CARE I HAVE EVER EXPIRENCED THEY SEEM TO CARE JUST TO GET YOU IN, AND MAKE EVERYTHING GO SO WELL UNTIL IT COMES TO CARE FOR YOUR LOVE ONE NURSES NEVER MAD THIER VISITS WHEN YOU CALL TO HAVE THEM COME AND CHECK ON YOUR LOVE ONE JUST TO SEE IF YOUR DOING EVERYTHING RIGHT THEY COME WITH ATTITUDE. AND TRY TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE YOU ARE ASKING TO MUCH OR YOUR THE PROBLEM STARTING A FAMILY FIGHT BETWEEN SIBLINGS WITH COMPLETE UNDERSTANDING WHAT EVERYBODY GOES THROUGH THIER CONCERNS SHOULD BE MORE UNDERSTADING NOT SO SHALOW AS OUR NURSES RESPONSE. HERS WAS SHE HAD BEEN SICK AND THAT SHE NEEDED TO KNOW MY CONCERNS SO SHE COULD ADDRESS THEM BECAUSE SHE HAS ALOT OF OTHER PATIENTS SHE HAD TO SEE. THAT THEY DIDNT HAVE FAMILY LIKE WE HAD. I ASKED HER WHY SHE HAD NOT BEEN THERE THAT IT WAS GOING ON SEVEN DAYS AND NOT ONE NURSE HAS BEEN OUT TO OUR HOME TO CHECK MY MOTHER AND I JUST WANTED TO MAKE SURE SHE WAS COMFORTABLE AND IN NO PAIN AND SHE WAS VERY CLOSE TO DEATH THAT MY UNDERSTANDING WAS THEY COME ONCE ADAY WHEN THIS TIME APPROCED. SAME ANSEWER SHE HAD A LOT MORE OTHER PATIENTS THAT WE WERE NOT HER ONLY ONES. ALSO THERE COUNCELING IS FAR FROM ANY HELP I GUESS THEY ARE JUST FAKE COUNCLERS. MY NEICE WENT TO THEM AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING AND ALL THEY SAID TO HER WAS IM SORRY. NEEDLESS TO SAY I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOSPICE TO ANYBODY WHO LOVES THIER DYING FAMILY MEMBER.
