Maitri Compassionate Care is the only AIDS specific residential care facility specializes in hospice care to the underserved community of those individuals dying of or severely debilitated by the AIDS diagnoses since 1987. Maitir really strives to provide the highest quality care to those individuals at the end of their lives by offering an array of supportive services. These servcies include; 24 hour nursing and attendant care, social worker and case management services to each individual, food and nutrition program, comfortable accommodations, and daily activities. Maitri hospice program is a recognized leader in residential care for people dying from AIDS. As a former Interim Executive Director and Board President of a HIV/AIDS program in the bay area I highly recommend Maitir to those living with HIV/AIDS. We recommended many of our clients to this program and always received positive feedback from the client and their love ones.
