The service provided by Caring Senior Service of Phoenix is good. We have been using them for six years now and we're very satisfied. We've had the caregiver we have now for over five years and she is excellent. One of the reasons I chose this agency is they were willing to come to the rehab and be trained on catheterization on my husband, which is something I really need help with. Not all of the agencies do that, so that was the reason I chose them.

We are using Caring Senior Services, and it is working out quite well. It takes very little time for us to get a match from them. The aides are excellent. They cook, clean, do the laundry, and care for my husband. They do whatever it is that needs to be done. We have two different aides who are both very punctual. One time, they accompanied us to my husband's doctor's appointment. They do medical assistance, too, which I do not need at this point.

We have caregivers from Caring Senior Service. First, they send me a 19-year old or an 18-year old girl that is just starting nursing. I am not happy with her because she does not have enough experience. Then they send me a 22-year old and I still have to teach her how to do everything -- like she does not shave my husband everytime she comes. She comes twice a week. I told her the first priority is him. Because she is here 4 hours, I tell her to clean the stove, and she cleans only two grills. I mean, it is ridiculous. Supposedly, she has been doing this for 3 years, but I do not believe it because from what I see her doing, I have to show her how to do it. I have seen other caregivers do it with my husband. In the beginning, I am not happy with her at all or with whomever they send me because I feel like this is a teaching place. Now, I am deciding I just go ahead and keep her rather than send somebody else and we have to teach another person. So, I ask to send me somebody that is more of an adult and not teenager. She gives my husband a bed bath, and I do not feel that she really knows how to give a bed bath because his hair is not washed. Frankly, I am not very happy with them, but I am asking for somebody else because I do not want a million different people coming. I wish to have just one person.
