We appreciate all opportunities to improve. Thank you for the feedback. During our in-take process, it all starts with a care plan that is ‘housed’ in the environment where the client lives: providing the Right People, with the Right Mission, the Right Approach and the Right Services. We do take a more proactive approach to making sure we are accomplishing everything is done that is expected of our team members prior to them leaving. We believe this approach will address future issues related to quality of care. Thank you again for the feedback. At Right at Home Birmingham, we too have a goal of consistency and sometimes things outside of our control happen that prohibit consistency in the home. We take pride in our accreditation with The Joint Commission, we are a preferred, in-network provider of BlueCross BlueShield, we offer generous benefits to our staff including BlueCross BlueShield health insurance, we offer weekend shift pay differentials for our staff. It is rare but we do TB testing, Drug Testing, and Background checks prior to hiring staff. Right at Home uniforms are provided at no cost to all caregiver staff. The owner’s mobile number is available at any time to clients and staff. Right at Home hires less than 30% of the qualified people that pass our competency exam to represent us. Additionally, we offer private pay skilled nursing in the home. Our amazing office staff is available on-call 24/7 and any time a call comes in, at any time of day, you’d talk with someone that is part of our staff and knows our care team members and clients we serve. We are trusted in the community and that’s why 70% of our new cases start the same day or next day. We have fantastic staff and they respond quickly. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for those we serve.

We at Right at Home Birmingham take pride in our caregivers. We prescreen all applicants prior to beginning their employment with us. Once they have met our high standards of care, they receive ongoing training to help increase job-related competence. If a client is disgruntled with the level of service received, we encourage these issues to be called to our attention. We’re prompt and attentive in working with each client for resolution of each complaint received.
Our goal at Right at Home Birmingham is to improve the quality of life for those we serve. Our caregivers believe in this goal and we welcome feedback from our valued clients if they feel we fall short of that goal so that we can make improvements immediately.

About Right at Home Birmingham
Right at Home provides in-home caregiving services for thousands of families across the nation. We offer companionship and help with everyday tasks that have become challenging for an aging person. This may include things like meal preparation, laundry, housekeeping, hygiene and grooming. We also offer services for those with special care situations caused by numerous medical conditions such as Alzheimer's disease and other dementias. Custom Care Plan
From the moment you call, we begin considering the specific needs of your loved one. We ask questions during the initial call or meeting to form a basic needs assessment. After discussing your particular situation, we will prepare an initial Custom Care Plan and then work with you to fine tune that Care Plan based on your loved one's specific needs. Once the plan is agreed upon, your local Right at Home team matches the right caregiver to implement the plan.
Caregiver Training and Care Supervision
Every Right at Home caregiver goes through an extensive interview process, including background checks. Once hired, caregivers are trained through Right at Home University to ensure that they're able to deliver the care set out in your loved one's Custom Care Plan. Before providing care, they're bonded and insured.
