Rocky Mountain Care Clearfield was OK, but not well cared for. We just looked at the general rooms. They have a therapy room. I didn't see many people that were out. The staff wasn't very helpful or engaged. The residents didn't look very cared for. They looked lonely. It needs work.

Checked in on Friday afternoon received no medicine for two or three days. even though they had me bring it from home. Room has not been cleaned since I arrived. Food is horrible if you receive it. If you get food ii is cold with a strange taste. Only got to see doctor yesterday and he refused to release me even though I just want out of this ——place. Couple of staff are nice the rest hate the patients and you can heat them yelling at some of them. Admin has been notified but have yet to see any corrections. Stay Far Away

I’f u have anyone or know anyone u truly care for, DO NOT and I repeat, DO NOT let anyone u ever care for do not ever take them to this particular care facility . In Clearfield!! They have no idea what compassionate care is whatsoever!!! They aids are incredibly understaffed and and extremely rude for the most part!! The food is bad!! Always serving the same thing and NO flavor whatsoever!!! Nearly every aid I met were rude and grossly incompetent!!! No to mention NO respect for the elderly. And if u happen upon this unfortunate set of circumstances, do no give your loved one a single thing of value, as it Will Disappear!! There is no follow through other than a very scientifically inept social worker. I was a former patient there for 5 months and transferred to another care center which is a night and day difference from the two. So Anyone who is looking to put a loved one in a care center, if u truly care at all about them. Please stay far away from this place!!! Sincerely, Very Concerned!!!

I have been visiting my father as the main caregiver 2-3 times a week for the past 2 months!! I am extremely pleased with Rocky Mountain Clearfield!! Rehabilitation services exceptional, nursing - detailed and timely, nurses aids have been respectful and caring. My father said the food has been ok and laundry services have done their job. They have not been perfect, but we don't expect that. We have had caring professionals who create a safe and healthy environment for my father and that are working as a team with us to care for our father. Thank you from all the hard work you do!!

I went to visit a good friend who is a resident there now. No one told me or him that I would not be able to visit him inside the building; they have imposed a lockdown. Although I recognize their concern for the health and well-being of their residents, this policy is ridiculously stringent. I am double-vaccinated and wore a mask. They would not even let me go to a bathroom. I was forced to urinate in their parking lot. It was either that or go onto their entrance steps. I am afraid I will never be able to see my friend again.

The rehab portion of Rocky Mountain care was exceptional. I felt they truly loved my mom and were so good to her. The rooms were spacious and the staff caring. My only complaint is that when we asked for a reimbursement for a $1500 overpayment, it took forever to hear back from them. When we finally did, we were told the check was coming. That was several weeks ago, and we’re still waiting.

Horrible care and food. My friend went into this facility as a size 16, in 43 days was a size 6. When her insurance ran out no one talked to her about this. She is an older lady that is now stuck with a bill that she will be unable to pay. Because of pride has never received assistance even though she qualifies. Even if she wanted to it is too late to even receive help. Her first bill came one week before the 90 day deadline. Another infuriating point I would like to make is she wanted to leave many times due to the poor care. She was told she couldn't until she could walk with a walker. Due to her age she believed these horrible people.

Rocky Mountain Care Clearfield was bigger than the other places we looked at. The staff was nice, pleasant, and helpful. The whole building was nice. The residents said they liked the food. It was a clean facility.

The women (cna's) are more concerned with talking and being on the phone or talking about you or your family wen they don't think you hear them!!! rather than doing there job. Dinner is always late and cold. The food staff is a joke allwase mad or pissey .the only good thing there is a few nurse's and a few select few special people.

Rocky Mountain Care Clearfield provided Mom with assistance in bathing, meds, and putting on her compression socks. The place was incredibly clean and up-to-date. They provided good food, and the staff was extremely polite and helpful. They pretty much took care all of her needs, they were awesome. Mom was able to eat all the food served to her.

New management is not kind. I had an aunt in there and all the staff seemed unhappy. They never smiled or cared about the quality of work. Admissions process was a nightmare. Food was good. A lot of choices. Just management mostly.

Rocky Mountain did a great job, and my wife improved and was able to come home. She had a single room, which was good sized. It had a bath and everything else. The food was a little slow, and it was not always the hottest. They had a little more social there. She played a few cards.

My grandmother is in Rocky Mountain Care facility. It is close to her doctors. They are all within two blocks right there from the hospital. They have a great staff. They are very caring and patient. They offer certain services like taking her for manicure/pedicure or getting her hair done which are nice little things for comfort care. The rooms are in a nice size. She is in a individual room, which is probably 12x15 with its own bath. So, it has very a nice room, and it is a very nice facility. She is in the area -- which is more of a rehabilitation center -- so she has the speech and physical therapist every day, but the other activities beyond that are just beauty salon with pedicures, manicures, and stuff. They have a pretty wide variety of foods that are not limited on their choices, and they do cater well to special diets. I like that it is very friendly. However, they can improve on adding just a little bit more staff.

Great place. Beautiful new rooms. They had quality nurses and aides. They were considerate and helped me because I can't see at all. I appreciated the friendliness; they were willing to help out. I enjoyed my stay even though I didn't want to be there.
