The facility overall is okay. My grandmother who can no longer walk was admitted to this facility. Inside it has a okay staff, a tad slow to get things done or finish a task when asked to do so but generally friendly. The overall environment of the building is somewhat depressing. The walls and decoration are very dull. Rooms are very small and shared. There is no screening for room partners and there are sometimes conflict arise out of this. No T.V. or telephone is provided in room without a high charge. The condition of my grandmothers stay was due to leg injuries and from now on she cannot live at home. They have done a mediocre job taking care of her legs and I often discover bed sores on here where nurses have not done there daily rolling over and moving (or applying ointment). However when confronting most nurses it seems to be a lack of communication/chain of command problem more than the staffs unwillingness to do it. One nurse will simply think someone else has all ready done the task because they were not instructed to do so or believe it is the others job. In summary, if my grandmother didn't wish to be so close to home and her husband who is also on a medical downcline I would have her transferred to another facility.
