Scenario Adult Restorative Nursing and Day Center

I have no idea how idea how the small staff at Scenario does all that it is able to do in a day. My 70 year old brother attends daily, to say he is difficult would be an understatement. Having a safe place for him to go daily is such a gift. He does not want to be in assisted living, this is a perfect solution.

My mother goes to Scenario during the day. They have different activities that are geared towards restoring their health and optimizing their functionality. They throw a ball, they sit-up stand-up -- they really promote empowering the patients to do as much as they possibly can and improving their functionality, so it is a good thing for us. It is exactly what we want for her -- just to have a good quality of life while we still have her. She likes the socializing and all that, and she has made new friends. It is a really positive experience for her, and she looks forward to going the next morning and getting up and doing it all over again. The activities are just nice for her, and she enjoys it. They really help me along the hallway about getting her transportation to and from, and they have a doctor that is on-site that has helped with getting orders, and my mother is now getting rehab because of that.
