Adult Day Care Communities in Mesquite, TX

"We went to see the Agape Place II assisted living facility while looking at places for our aunt. The building looked well maintained from the outside. The park-like back yard looked like a nice place to spend a wonderful day relaxing, having a gathering or hosting a barbeque. The staff looked like they enjoyed working with the residents. Many were enjoying walks, exercising, socializing, reading and watching television in the many communal social rooms. The private living spaces looked peaceful, bright and comforting. The furnishings were personalized, each different in their design. The dining rooms were equipped with beautiful furnishings that were easy access. The food we saw was deliciously prepared and smelled very appetizing. They offer a variety of snacks throughout the day and the residents may request food any time they wish. The chef also takes special meal requests. We thought this facility was well-maintained, with kind and caring staff and residents that seemed very well cared for. "

"I have used this facility for my relative since 2007 and I must say the owners are awesome people. They really care about the clients and their needs. I would recommend them to anyone that is in need of care for a family member. "

"I went to Friend’s Place Adult Day Services a couple of times to either visit my friend or she wanted to show me the facility. I was very impressed with the facility and, unfortunately, my friend couldn’t afford to put her dad there, but I think it’s $25 a day. I talked with the director/owner and she is really dedicated to the care of older folks. They have bingo. They have people coming in from the community to play music. Local organizations come in and do performances. They have a very nice area with memory care cubicles. Each cubicle has memorabilia from a different decade which I thought was pretty neat. They have an area for activities of daily living and two big areas for communal get-togethers and programs that they have. I thought that they did a really good job. They have a nice shower facility area and the food there was better. It was a cut above institutional food. It felt very friendly and very comfortable. The people that were there seemed happy to be there other than maybe 1 or 2 that were obviously too out of it. If I had somebody that needed day care, I would definitely not hesitate to send him there. "

"I have a high admiration for the Cerebral Palsy care center of Dallas. I was impressed by the compassion and attention that patients were given here by staff members. I have always had a deep compassion for individuals with cerebral palsy - ever since I grew up watching a pastor with it on Television. The staff mimicked exactly how I feel toward these individuals - which gave me a high level of respect for the caregivers as well as the facility itself. I was also impressed by the care program that is given to help these individuals deal with their illness, in hopes of reversing the effects of it. I highly recommend the Cerebral Palsy center of Dallas. "

"My mother goes to Scenario during the day. They have different activities that are geared towards restoring their health and optimizing their functionality. They throw a ball, they sit-up stand-up -- they really promote empowering the patients to do as much as they possibly can and improving their functionality, so it is a good thing for us. It is exactly what we want for her -- just to have a good quality of life while we still have her. She likes the socializing and all that, and she has made new friends. It is a really positive experience for her, and she looks forward to going the next morning and getting up and doing it all over again. The activities are just nice for her, and she enjoys it. They really help me along the hallway about getting her transportation to and from, and they have a doctor that is on-site that has helped with getting orders, and my mother is now getting rehab because of that. "

"My mom has been going to Loving Touch for three years now. They're great. They feed her breakfast, watch TV, have prayer session, do some exercises and activities in the afternoon after lunch, then they give her a snack. I would recommend it."
