The Brooks of Cibolo was the newest of the places we visited. They have independent and they also have assisted living. The facility was excellent. It's only a few years old, so it is a very nice facility. It's very spacious. It's extremely well done. The downside for them is they're the most expensive. All the places had the same activities. There wasn't really anything that one facility offered that was different than another.

The Brooks of Cibolo was really nice, but it was pretty pricey, because they wanted everything included. The place was in excellent shape. The apartment was very nice and it had everything you needed. I saw the dining facilities, the snack facilities, the outside area where they had the barbecue pits, the swimming pool, and the workout room.

We were able to tour The Brooks of Cibolo, and it's one of the places we considered going to. It was new, it was clean, and that's what I liked best about it. It's located close to a medical facility like emergency care, Walmart's right there, you could walk to lots of big restaurants. The staff is friendly and there was absolutely nothing to complain about. We've tried their food, it was amazing. They had a gym and a pool, the only thing they didn't have was the outside space because there was nothing outside. The dining room was nice, everything there was very nice, they had a putting green which was kind of cool, and the dining area was nice but kind of small.

The grounds at The Brooks of Cibolo were nice. We went into the assisted living wing and they had a nice common living area where you can sit and talk with people. We noticed they had the hair salon right there and it was all on one level. They also had different little areas with turning corners to go around with little sitting areas at different places. Then they had a little theater room, game rooms, therapy/exercise room, and chef-prepared meals. It just looked nice. My mom will be in a studio that is a pretty good size. You can put your bed, chair, and TV. It has a kitchenette and a very nice bathroom. You could roll in if you have to walk in with your walker. It is clean. There's no smell at all. The staff was very good. They were very attentive, and courteous, and any questions I had were answered.

When I visited The Brooks of Cibolo, I love that the memory care had a central area, with all the rooms facing that central area. They have an easy view of all the residents. It was very beautiful. It is very clean and fairly new. The staff was good. I know that they have a hair salon, and they have a bus, they would take the residents to different places. It was beautiful and homey. The landscape was nice.

My mother has lived at The Brooks since they opened in May, overall she has received great care. There has been a few hiccups that they fixed right away. Staff is very attentive to my mother’s needs. The food is great, only one problem, they have a rule that if they are ill or can’t make it to the dinning room, they make the resident wait until after everyone has eaten before they deliver the meal, which is like an 1 1/2 hrs after lunch is served.

The Brooks of Cibolo is a nice place. We've seen everything, we've been in the apartment that my parents are moving into, and their furniture is actually in the apartment. They've all been really great, they've done everything they can do to help us. They have examples of their menu, and their menu changes every day. It's very clean.
