I liked Georgia Manor Nursing Home. The only problem was they did not have a secure unit and my husband has dementia, so he wanders off. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the residents were active; they weren't sitting around sleeping. They were alert. It was a good place. The rooms were nice, but small. They have two beds and a TV, and that's about all you can fit in a room. It looked like a home instead of an institution. The staff was very informative. They treat the people well and they talked to them as we were walking through. The facility was clean and well kept.

My mother was there for rehab during Covid. She received no rehab because of this. We were told on Friday she was being discharged. She couldn't go back home because of Alz. They told us she was being kicked out on Tuesday. Lost her personal items. Horrible place!! Adm staff will tell you anything!!

The only reason that my father-in-law is in Georgia Manor is because it is close to the home, and the ease and convenience for us to visit him and monitor his care; otherwise, we’re totally not satisfied with it. They’re not concerned with his quality of care. They need to find some people who know what they’re dealing with and deal with it. They just don’t seem to understand the residents’ needs and their state of mind, etc. Just that their staff doesn’t seem to be qualified to address specific needs. They have no level of understanding individual needs.

Georgia Manor was for my mother, and she has passed away. We really liked the place. They took perfect care of my mother. The room was small, but other than that, it was great. It was always clean and we spent a lot of time there. The food was good. I liked the caretakers, they were very concerned and they cared.
