My mother was a patient in long term care at Life Care Center of Morristown. She was always clean, comfortable and well taken care of. The staff was amazing. Her CNA’s, nurses, wound care, social services, and everyone made sure her needs were met. I was nervous going in (because of things you hear about nursing homes) but was very grateful she had top notch care from day one. She was never just left in her room. I often found her at the nurses station or listening to a speaker / music (her preference) in a community area. The facility and staff should be commended. The staff answered questions, they were attentive, and very welcoming. Thank you Life Care for coordinating the needs of my mother with hospice at the end of her life.

My Mom was a long term resident of Life Care Center of Morristown for almost 2 years. She had 2 strokes and could not speak for herself, I was her P.O.A. Apparently she fell out of bed and hit her head. They would always call me when she fell, even if she was not hurt. This time, I received a call (stating she fell and she said she is fine) on a Tuesday. The following Saturday, I received a call stating she had passed away. I was told that on Thursday they took her to the hospital, (no call to me) and Saturday morning they noticed that she was real low on oxygen(Again with no call). They simply put the oxygen tub on her and left the room. When they came back in, she was dead. I just can't help but think that there is more that they could have done for her, She was 71 yeas of age. Last I seen her was the Friday before her fall and we was laughing and having a good time, making plans for her to come home for Christmas.

My mom is in Life Care Center. I've been to a lot of nursing homes when I was looking around, and this one is the nicest. It is cleaner, the staff is nice, and they have all kinds of activities there. I never got to taste the food, but mom seems to like it. I would recommend them to others.

My family friend is currently a resident at Life Care and I have been really impressed with the care they give her. The staff really seems to go out of their way to get to know the patients on a personal level. It does seem like that they are a bit overwhelmed with so many patients and not enough nurses though. One time it took several days to get medication changes approved by a doctor because of such a heavy work load. However, overall I am pleased with the facility.
