Patients are treated poorly. Staff is rude and uncaring to family members. If your family member is in this facility I recommend you get them out immediately.

My dad is in rehab at Sumter East Health and Rehabilitation Center. My mom was there a few years ago, and they took excellent care of her. So when my father had to go, they had a room available for him. He's done exceptionally well there. They have a good team up in there. They've worked with him with everything he's needed. He's come a very long way. It's all been positive, so it's been great. The staff members were amazing, very friendly, and very helpful. My dad hasn't lost any weight, so the food is pretty good. The room is clean. They have everything they need in their rooms. They've got a bed, bathroom, and TV. The main thing for me is the staff because my father's there to get rehabilitated. He's getting physical therapy and speech therapy every day. They've just taken excellent care of him. They've answered any questions that we've had. If they couldn't figure it out, they found someone who could figure it out. They've always called back.

hello i visited this facility to see if i would like my grandmother to be here. So at first the staff was very nice the facility looked cleaned and nice standard. However i watch this one staff members which later i found that she was a LPN name Lily she was rude, with lil compassion for the residence and no team effort with her fellow staff. When i witness that I told the coordinator that i was very unhappy with what i saw and if she allow this to happen when i was there i could imagine how she treats the other residence and staff. This is unacceptable i will not allow my grandmother come here.

Everyone treated me well. I had a really nice short term stay. My roommate was very friendly and we enjoyed chatting. I appreciate the CNA Cynthia, she took great care of me.

I was here in June and July 2021. I enjoyed my short term stay. My husband passed away shortly before I was admitted. The staff were so very supportive and helped me deal with this loss. I cannot thank them enough. I recommend this facility.

Everything was wonderful. The people treated me like a regular person and not a number. The people at the therapy gym really cared. They took time with me. I would go back for rehab.

I recieved nice care here but I am ready to go and do something outside of here due to Covid-19. The staff were caring and nice to me. They seemed to care about me not just for me.

We went to Sumter East Health & Rehabilitation Center, but they didn't have any female beds. It seemed like a regular nursing home with private rooms instead of just semi-private. They had activities for the seniors. It was very clean, and the staff was very nice. They had a full nursing staff, too. They had a therapy room and a common room.

My mom was at Sumter East Health & Rehabilitation Center. Some of the aides were very good while others were not. They had activities for the residents. Overall, it needed a whole lot of improvement and they needed more aides on the floor.
