I have had the pleasure to work with Tyra J. previously and her contributions to the community is outstanding. I appreciate her professionalism along with her big heart and look forward to networking with Active Day in the near future.

Active Day was very welcoming, and it’s a clean facility. The population was diverse with a small comfortable setting. The person who assisted us was kind, personable, and knowledgeable. The dining area was clean. I think the activity room kind of doubles the cafeteria -- not sure. They have small sitting rooms for people who might want to do independent reading.

My name is Emma K. and I have been attending Active Day of the Pee Dee for 17 years now. I have met many different individuals that I now consider as a part of my extended family. The employees are very caring and considerate of any and all of my needs and all of the other clients. Just recently I injured my upper right thigh at home and a knot formed and the employees was very concerned and the knot turned out to be a tumor that the doctors said was cancerous, so I ended up having surgery and had to stop attending from the last of June to October and the Director the employees, and the clients would call me or speak to one of my family members to check on my well-being and to inform me that they were praying for me and to hurry and get well. I was very touched for the concern. I really enjoy attending Active Day of the Pee Dee. Just like the name 'Active', the daycare really keeps the clients active with daily exercise and all the other different games and activities the have the clients use their thinking skills.

I have been a member for over 22 years now. I consider the staff my second family. I enjoy attending this center because I love the outings, spending time with my friends and the games. I also love the jewelry-making crafts.
