The facility staff is rude and acts like they don't really care about the residents. Don't take of the residents as they should be. Smell is awful. Residents are not watched over enough. They seem under staffed. Not friendly at all, don't return calls to family members to answer questions and concerns. I hate that my mother had to be put there. Was not my choice of picking. Rooms are not updated, small and cleanliness of the rooms are not up to standard. I don't know anything about amenities offered never been told. My mother don't get to participate in activities seems she is always in here bed and never up. Staff does not interact well with family.

I would tell. anybody to look hard at this place It out date from other place room is only big enough for one person. No where For family to set . why there. bathroom are to small for handle cap people to move around. Now we had trouble With some of worker some was good as gold I like where is local. Head people try to address problem we were have. I think manger on hall need be boss and not friend with worker. I would tell any one look close at where you put your love one keep a check on them.

Oakhaven is very nice and they take very good care of my husband. The place is really old. The staff is very, very nice. He is in a small room with someone else. They have Bingo once a week and they take them out shopping every once in a while.

Overall experience has been positive and would recommend the place to others. Staff while kept busy, do take care of residences and my Grandmother doesn't go without. Over the past year she has only had a bad experience with one or two staff, which the management has talked with her about and let go.Individuals whose health isn't too bad are taken out on walks or in wheelchairs with what I haven't seen any complaints. They have movie nights, wine and cheese nights and other such events which have led to her making friends in the home.My real only complaint is sometimes it takes the staff a bit long to respond to calls regarding the need to use the bathroom. I chalk this up to possibly being too short staffed.
