Spruce Point Assisted Living and Memory Care Community has a separate side for memory care, and they have like 20 rooms in there, but I wasn't that impressed with it. The staff who gave the tour was nice. It was the receptionist at the main part that gave me a tour of the memory care unit. It wasn't the staff at the memory care place, but it was an administrative person. They have a kitchen and a living room area where you can watch TV and stuff. The facility seemed nice. However, people didn't look very happy there. I was only shown a private room.

Spruce Point Assisted Living and Memory Care Community was a relatively brand new facility. It was exceptionally nice. Unfortunately, the cost was exceptionally nice, too. Everything looked like it was very expensive. The gentleman that showed us around invited us to stay for lunch, and the food was outstanding. He explained that they have all kinds of special diets, that people are allergic to different foods or are diabetic, and that they custom the meals to the individual’s medical needs.

My experience here at Spruce Point Assisted Living has been excellent. The staff is incredibly professional and caring. The food is excellent. The people are friendly, warm, and engaging. They have independent living, assisted living, and memory care, so there is a continuum of care, which is a wonderful option. It is located in a small seaside city. They have a full range of activities, and the activity director is exceptionally confident. She actively recruits participation in group activities. She is enthusiastic and well-organized.

Care person

They have some excellent care givers. Problems with administraters. Beautiful facility. Friendly. They could treat their employees better, good ones don't stay around to long. Close to hospital and dr. offices. Good food. This is the place I'd put my mom if I had to.!
