I thought Shorewood Senior Living was a really nice place, and the people there were awfully nice. There was a lot to like, I don't really know what I liked the best. I like the people there, the people that work there are very friendly and helpful. I like that they had a little library and a couple of rooms where you could sit and relax, read, or play games. It was earlier in the summer, so they didn't have much growing yet, but they do have nice grounds around the facility. The yard, the courtyard in the back and all that was very nice. The rooms are nice, I didn't really see anything that I didn't like. I haven't had a chance to try the food, but they did send me a meal ticket, so probably the next time. I'm about 40 or 50 miles from there. The next time I go over there, I'll probably have lunch. I only met a couple of people, but they were both very nice and very helpful. The facility was very nice, very clean, and very comfortable.

I toured Shorewood Senior Living. It's a very decent and quiet community. The rooms were basic but nice. The person who gave the tour was very nice. It's a good location. You're not in the woods someplace, and it is extremely clean and airy. Their dining area was nice.

We chose Shorewood Senior Living because of their location in Florence. My mom feels like they treat her like an adult and she likes that. The food is really good and she likes it. They worked very hard to enclose the patios so my mom could have her dog. They just need to evaluate the carpets for wheelchairs because it just makes it a lot harder. The apartment that my mom is in has just been renovated so it's really lovely. My mom has enjoyed doing things there and she's in their independent living.

My apartment at Shorewood Retirement Residence is very nice. I have a one-bedroom apartment. The staff are great. The food is okay. I mostly just watch TV so I don't participate in their activities too much.
