Memory Care Reviews for Brookdale Tulsa 71st and Sheridan

I visited this facility

Brookdale Tulsa 71st and Sheridan is all memory care, and I was very pleased with it. The facility was large; that's why I didn't pick it. It just seemed too big for my husband. While it might fit my husband's needs, I was just overwhelmed with that many people with those higher needs. I wasn't as comfortable as I am at the other facility.

I visited this facility

We went to Brookdale Tulsa, and we met with the representative. We were shared details about the facility, and we were given a tour. We were very pleased with our experience. The staff appeared to be very professional and very efficient.

My husband is at Clare Bridge of Tulsa. It is OK. That's about all that I can say. It is not great, but it is OK. The care is OK. There is not really anything I have against it. I just have to move my husband there; I don't have a choice. The cost is a problem, but I'm not going to find anything cheaper.

My mother has moved in at Brookdale Tulsa, and I will be moving her out immediately; I didn't like it. The apartments were not clean, bugs are there, they haven't vacuumed since she has been there, and there's mildew in the cabinet. They don't even spend any time in the rooms. I went over there trying to take extra stuff, and I don't even know what I was paying for because they didn't help her with anything. It takes you forever to get in; you can't call and get in touch with anybody or leave a message -- very frustrating. They just have to use the bathroom in their pants, they got dementia, and they stay there on a 2-hour schedule before they take them to the bathroom. She wasn't incontinent before. They need to have more people. There's very little activity there during the day; I know they've got a lot to do, and that?s when they need to have more people there. They have music playing most of the time on the radio. The one that I hired took her outside and let her sit. She has fallen three times and had her on the hospital two times being in there less than a month. They need more help in the dining room for people that cannot feed themselves. Mom weighs 105lbs; she started out a year ago at 150lbs. They knew that she lost a lot of weight and that she needed to be fed.

Everything is going really well at Clare Bridge. He really adjusted to it quickly, and we are really pleased with it. They have an activity director, and dad plays domino. The staff is very friendly, and they all seem to know him really quickly. We are really impressed with all of the care. They have been communicating with us very well.

The staff at Clare Bridge of Tulsa is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are really nice and very spacious. I wasn’t able to eat there, but their dining room is nice. I am not really sure about their activities, but I know they have games, and they have a computer there.

This is a very bad place. Staff is disorganized and unprofessional, facility is dirty, the staff does all the cleaning which saves the facility money, but they don't have time to take care of residents.

By my mom's the best

I visited this facility

Clare Bridge was a very clean and well maintained facility. The rooms were very nice. The staff was very helpful. They had a lot of activities. However, my mom was too far with Alzheimer's that she wouldn't be able to participate on any of those.

I visited this facility

I took a tour of Clare Bridge. It was very nice. I was impressed with the place. The young lady that gave me the tour was very efficient. I like the place, but it was interesting that they would charge me $500 a month to take care of a patient's medications. My wife takes one medication each month. So I didn't argue with them on that point. But $500 seem to be high to administer one pill a month.
