The rooms are moderately sized and kept relatively clean. Though the bathrooms have an odor unless an air freshener is used often. The kitchen staff are friendly and work with what they have which isn’t much. Don’t go here if needing a special diet like gluten free/diabetic. The food choices are extremely limited by corporate and the Kitchen staff don’t have much leeway. Though hardworking, Housekeeping and Maintenance staff is barely skeleton crew and issues get missed because of this. The biggest problem lies in the nursing staff and administrators. Some of the nurses are excellent at their jobs and seem to care while others ignore call lights and are rarely consistent in times giving meds. The meds are changed without warning and not conveyed to the patient even if the nursing staff is made aware. Most of the Aides are friendly and helpful. However the turnover rate for the good workers is very high. If the patient sees the Doctor once a month, they are lucky. The administration seems more likely to want the patient out unless already paying them. Don’t bother going to the social worker for anything. Patients must do it themselves if they can or go over their head if needing anything done. If there is any choice do NOT go or send loved ones here.

I recently walked into this place considering placing my family member there but after observing the call lights going off for 20 minutes at a time and the nursing and nurses aid staff all poorly dressed with torn pants bottoms dragging behind and all of them being overly obese sitting there eating doughnuts and fast food while ignoring the call lights i walked back out and placed my family member else where..If they can't even take care of their appearance or maintain a healthy body weight how can they take care of anyone else. I was so disgusted with the way the residents looked being unshaven and smelly some smelled worse than a wet dog and like urine..I wouldn't recommend a earth worm to be placed into these peoples care,,Do your family member a big favor and place them some where else

They left my mother in a chair all day without anyone checking on her. If I wasn't there she would have probably slept in that chair. I was so upset, if I had the money I would have taken her out of that place. I did ask a nurse to take my mom back to her room she said and I quote "she's not one of my patients I'll have to find her nurse".
