"The staff was incredibly kind and concerned for the care and comfort of my Dad. We looked at several nursing homes and Ware was by far our #1 choice. "

"I liked Georgia Manor Nursing Home. The only problem was they did not have a secure unit and my husband has dementia, so he wanders off. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the residents were active; they weren't sitting around sleeping. They were alert. It was a good place. The rooms were nice, but small. They have two beds and a TV, and that's about all you can fit in a room. It looked like a home instead of an institution. The staff was very informative. They treat the people well and they talked to them as we were walking through. The facility was clean and well kept."

"I got skilled nursing at Legacy Rehabilitation and Living. The nurses were wonderful. It was kind of a bad time to be there because they had a problem in their Alzheimer's unit. Some of the Alzheimer's patients were moved into the unit that I was in for safety, but it ended up being a catastrophe. Those people wandered around and came in and out of the room and took my stuff. It was just a bad situation. Upkeep and cleanliness were very good. The meals were wonderful. The grounds were very good. I was there during Easter and they had an Easter Egg Hunt and it was very enjoyable. There were several things that they offered. I wasn't able to move around very much, so I didn't take part in a lot of those. They had raised garden areas, and they had vegetables and flowers. They brought me coloring books and word search books. They're just very nice. I only had one problem though. I didn't get home with all my clothes and I called twice and I have not gotten an answer back. My insurance paid for it for ten days and then I had to start paying for it for myself, and that's when I came home. I never received any physical therapy after I went on self-pay. I got my meals and my medicines and that was about it. They should not put Alzheimer's patients in with other people. It just doesn't work. It's a strain on the nurses and a strain on the other people. They offered to move me, but I said, "No, I'll just stay here." I just did not like the people coming and going out of my room. Overall, they were very nice, and it was a good experience."
