"I have my dad in Desoto Health & Rehab. It is a very nice place, the people are very friendly, and caring. The staff is tremendous. They take care of my dad really well. He shares a room. He has a roommate. It's very clean. They've been making a lot of improvements since the hurricane a few years ago, so it's all nice and up-to-date. The food is excellent. I'd eaten there before COVID. If they want certain things like hot dogs or hamburgers, they make them whatever they would like. After the hurricane they redid mostly the whole thing over."

"I was in the rehabilitation for 3 months. Each person I was associated with from beginning to end provided excellent service. Kimmer O has an excellent team. I would recommend this facility to anyone. The nursing staff was also excellent when I was in the nursing home section."

"My husband has moved into Douglas Jacobson State Veterans Nursing Home. He's in there because he's a veteran, and he's with all the other veterans. So, they have people to talk to, and it's very nice. They play bingo, do a lot of activities, and they have televisions all over. He's with men, and they're taking very good care of him. The staff are very kind, and thoughtful, and they communicate with you very nicely if you have any questions. It's very clean and there are just a lot of activities for them. The facility is beautiful. They wash his clothes and take very good care of him. His room is clean, and the food is good. They've got big televisions and a lot of men with hats on with the service that they were in. There is a great deal of paperwork involved to get him in there."

"My aunt was in Solaris HealthCare after she was released from the hospital. She had a good experience there. It was an older building, but they treated her fine. She was happy with her stay there. There was nothing exceptional, but nothing was bad. "

"Village Place Health and Rehabilitation Center is excellent. Everybody is friendly and nice. They have nurses, doctors, and CNAs. They do have some aides, but for the most part, the nurses, doctors, and CNAs take care of all the people. The place is spotless. The grounds are very well kept. The food is excellent. Everybody is also very courteous, professional, and informative. "

"Charlotte Bay Rehabilitation & Care Center puts its resources into excellent staff. It's not necessarily the most fancy facility, but I think that's the most important part of the care. The nurses and aides are just really excellent and very caring. Nurse Charlene was great as well as the physical and occupational therapy team. Most of the rooms were shared. They're fine and clean, but they're not the most up-to-date in terms of facilities. The food was a hit or miss, depending on people's preferences. Mom liked some of the meals, but she didn't like some of them."
