Bear Creek Assisted Living & Memory Care felt like home, with a more comfortable atmosphere. The staff is excellent from what encounters we've had and it has a variety of smaller rooms. The dining area was nicely appointed, and my father said that the food is excellent. There seems to be quite a few different activities to choose from, including some outings every week. There's also a pool table that he enjoys and a pub that's very cute.

My boyfriend's mother is in Bear Creek Assisted Living & Memory Care, and she loves it. I thought their accommodations were fine. They had studios and one-bedrooms. My boyfriend's mother has two bedrooms and uses one as a sitting room. It's expensive, but it's no more expensive than other places. I thought the facilities were nice. They allow pets, which is a plus. They were very accommodating. They were very careful during COVID and did a good job. My boyfriend's mother loves the food. When it wasn't COVID, she would go down and eat her meals. She had friends there, and they would eat together. She would often eat breakfast in her own environment. She has a little kitchen and a full-sized refrigerator. They also have birthday parties for people. They have bingo. They are consistent with their activities, and that's a good thing. They take them out to restaurants and shopping once a week. They encourage them to do that, which is good because a lot of people tend to just want to stay in their room. It costs a lot of money, but they all do. I feel like they are fair, and they offer some alternatives.

My tour of Bear Creek Assisted Living & Memory Care was very good. As soon as I walked in I felt a sense of warmth. It was lovely, had a homey feeling, and was very clean. The director I met with knew the residents and had good interactions with them. I saw them involved in an activity. They're a nice group of people. The studios were large and homey, but there's a variety. There's a good range of activities, and they had a lot going on there. It's my top choice.

I moved my mom out after short month I have to say the care assistants were great The nurses were ok but many very inexperienced which worried me but we were there alot to oversee things Mom nor I cared for the food and sadly the woman in charge was rude and not very accomodating Cleanliness was fair . The decor oddly institutional no drapery no photos on walls I noticed full activity calendar yet not always accurate no dollar store trip and ect but activity people very nice Residents there very sweet one lady gave mom welcome card and a good bye card very touching The head director young obese man smiles alot but not accessible I found him to be distant and phony but i was not there long Head nurse very overwhelmed stressed but very knowledgeable In conclusion I would not want bearcreek to be my home but I do feel with some drastic changes it could be great

Between my sisters living out of state and myself here in NJ, we looked at over a dozen facilities and found Bear Creek to be 5 star in all categories. The Sales Manager walked us through the entire process and explained everything we should expect. She even gave us contacts of other professionals who could help us with Mom's transition. The Activity Staff are fun to be around. The Nursing Staff is kind, educated, and always updating me on how Mom is. The Executive Director, young at first glance, is a very educated and professional gentleman who has proven to be able to run an excellent facility. I am proud to call Bear Creek my mom's new home.

Horrible place for my parent. Clothing, money and jewelry missing from room. I found his/her aides to be disrespectful, and made him/her cry because the aide insisted my parent peed on the floor on purpose.

My Father is in there and it is a fantastic place. When I called they set up an appointment and gave us the grand tour, also introduced us to the staff. When he arrived, they had a welcome committee take him to his room, and in the room, they had a basket of goodies for us, it is just like being home with a lot of company. If he has to go out of the facility there is no problem, just sign him out and away we go. Now they do wear a pendant so if they should fall or need help in any way just push the button. I highly recommend it.

My Grandmother is currently staying at this assisted living facility. She has a few medical needs and the staff is hardly considerate. One positive about the place is their annual brunch. I think it is a good thing to get families to see their loved ones. Some negative comments about the facility would be the cleanliness of it. It has a odor when you first walk in and it could be a little bit cleaner for the residents. It is an average assisted living provider, but it definitely could use some improvements.

I will tell you that in our attempts to arrange a show for the residents we never received a reply or return call from either their activities director or their executive director. My experience from over 40 years as a key executive in both the private and public sectors is that organizations whose managerial staff ignore inquiries and correspondence are usually not well managed. I would not consider Bear Creek for myself or my family.
