My husband will move into CountryHouse-Elkhorn. We chose it because it's close and I thought it was nice. It had everything I thought that he would like. There are a lot of nurses there, and they'll take good care of him. The amenities are very nice. I picked a room for him so he won't have far to walk to the dining room and the main entertainment. Like a peek once to go and work on puzzles. Once he's there and gets settled in, he'll like it. The staff is very user-friendly and works with the patients.

CountryHouse in Elkhorn opened in January 2021. Our gorgeous community is designed purposefully for those with dementia. At capacity, we are home to 40 residents who are cared for by a team specifically trained to help those who live with the challenges brought forth by memory loss. A sister community, in nearby Millard, is just six miles away. CountryHouse Elkhorn offers three room choices: companion, private, deluxe private. Each room offers a private bathroom (shared in companion rooms) with a walk in shower. Residents are encouraged to bring their own furniture and treasured items to make their space comfortable and familiar.

My mom moved into CountryHouse at Elkhorn, and it was excellent. They are keeping my mom busy compared to the other facility. She's more stimulated. They do physical activities. They play games, go on rides, and do crafts. The staff members are very friendly and helpful. When you enter the facility, you have to buzz in, and it is answered within like two minutes max. They open the door quickly. When you walk in, there are staff all over the place. The rooms are beautiful and up-to-date. It's a newer facility and it's beautiful. My mom loves her room. She thinks it's beautiful. The facility is very nice and clean. My mom likes the food. I'm very, very happy.
