I moved my mom from NM to MT and placed her at Grizzly Peak. The staff is kind and friendly and hardworking. They always have the utmost respect for the residents. I have eaten there with my mom many many times and find the meals to be consistently wonderful. My mom’s apartment is easy for her to maneuver and convenient for her to care for her little dog. I highly recommend Grizzly Peak!

I toured Holiday Grizzly Peak for myself. The lady who gave us the tour was excellent. She spoke a little fast, but she was good at explaining everything. The place was wonderful. I liked it very much. My brother and sister-in-law went with me and they enjoyed it too. The studio room that I was interested in was roomy and it had a deck, and it was in the area where we had morning sun, which I liked a lot. The place was very clean and spacious. The people were all so friendly and very nice. The dining area was very spacious and very lovely. There were 3 or 4 people at a table and set up ready for food. In some of the areas, there were tables set up for the ladies to do puzzles. I'm doing puzzles at home as well, so I was very happy to see that. Everything that I saw was very good. A maintenance man was painting the curb, so you can tell they kept things up and very clean. There was no garbage around. It was all very tidy.

The lady I met at Grizzly Peak was very, very friendly, very helpful, and was eager to meet me at my time. They have a very small gym with two stationary bikes, a salon, and a community/gathering room where somebody was playing the piano at that time and there were a lot of people in that area. The only thing I didn't like was the community areas outside of individual rooms (like the hallways) just seemed very gloomy and just felt old.

My mother currently lives at Grizzly Peak. It's homey and friendly. It's been great. Her room is light, and they get housekeeping, so it's up-to-date and it's very nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. Certainly, they've been short-staffed because of the pandemic, which I know everybody across the country has been so and that's been challenging, but other than that, they've done the best that they can. The one drawback is she's been disappointed in the food. It's lacking flavor, it's usually not hot, and there's not enough fresh fruits and vegetables. She enjoys bingo and sing-alongs. They do Wii bowling, and she enjoyed that until her shoulder pain just got to be too much for her to be able to do that anymore.

Grizzly Peak was great. We've been there twice and I think my mother even went back and ate there a couple of years ago. It was very, very nice, and I liked the rooms, my mother did too. I think she went back and ate there, and she said the food was good. They would give you a ride, and they have pretty much everything that you would need.

Grizzly Peak was very good. The lady that took me around was very nice, and she answered all the questions. They introduced me to a couple of people. I'm concerned about the senior living places like those cliques. You can tell that the old ladies over there are all close together. I didn't see many activities going on there. I just saw all these old people lined up against the wall. The gentleman that I met was very nice. He was reading the paper. The lady that took me around and introduced me was very helpful and very nice. She's a younger lady. I just don't think it was worth it to me to pay $2,800 to be in a closed-in place. It was very nice, very much up to date and all, but that's not for me.

I visited Grizzly Peak and completed a survey right afterward. I was impressed with the apartment. I saw a courtyard and there was a performance going on there that day. I saw the dining room, and the facility was very clean and very bright. I was very impressed with the facility. It's independent living with home healthcare available if you need it at different levels.

Grizzly Peak didn't quite meet what my folks needed because they needed more medical care. My parents suffer from dementia and need help dispensing their medication, so that's why we didn't think this community is a good fit. But it's a beautiful place, it has lovely facilities and it seems like they have a lot of interaction with the school-age kids around the area. We were told there that we could bring our parents out to have a meal with them, if we wanted to. They have a company that comes in to do some medical stuff but they're not on staff 24/7. The staff is great, the rooms were very nice, and we would have liked to get one of their double rooms if we've went with them. I saw activities like puzzles laying out on a Friday afternoon and things like that. The building itself was very clean, very bright, and neat.

Grizzly Peak was very nice inside, and they had local university kids come over and visit with the people and teach them how to run computers. They sing, and there's always something going on every time we visited there. The rooms were also very nice.

Grizzly Peak was good, neat, and clean. We only met one staff member, and she was very pleasant, accommodating, and helpful. We looked at a couple of rooms that were clean and nice. However, they seemed cramped.

The room I saw at Grizzly Peak was nice, but small. They have activities and games like Bingo to keep the residents active and interacting.

Grizzly Peak was very good. They had good amenities, and the people who run the place were excellent. The rooms were small but had balconies so that you could sit outside and look over the area. They allow pets on the first floor. They had a party with popcorn and cotton candy.

Grizzly Peak was very cheerful, very nice, very friendly, and very accommodating. I thought it was great. It was not dark and depressing. It was very light, airy, and open. The rooms were very spacious. They had walk-in closets and a balcony. The staff was very fun, young, bubbly, and outgoing. I liked it a lot.

I visited Grizzly Peak. It was really clean. The staff was very attentive. The rooms were fairly basic and less expensive. They were functional rooms, extremely well kept, but they were smaller. The food was delicious and well prepared. Hot food was hot and cold food was cold. They served lovely nutritious food. There were lots of vegetables that were cooked correctly. They had a lovely entrees and nice little desserts. They were in good portion sizes. The dining was airy and very nice. They had Wii bowling, singing, outings, bingo, exercise classes, yoga and all sorts of activities.

I like that Grizzly Peak is open, bright, and clean. The people who manage the place are very nice. The apartments are open and have nice windows. The halls are wide, and it didn't seem like a care center. The cleanliness of the place is exceptional. I have not noticed anything that needs to be improved. I am quite impressed. We actually have two friends living there, and it is really a nice place.

Mom has a friend that was also living there and wanted to be in some place where she knew somebody. She also likes the amenities, and everybody was very polite and helpful. Mom's room is adequate.

Mom loves Grizzly Peak, and we love it too. She has exercise and gets socialization. They fix her meals, and the food is wonderful. Their chefs have won many awards. The portions are rated according to the person and not just generic feeding. The rooms are ample. They are spacious, whether you choose a studio apartment or you go with a one- or a two-bedroom. They have lots of closet space, and it’s easy for the person to get around. They have just the right sized refrigerator for snacks.

The best thing about Grizzly Peak was that they offered enough recreation and transportation. The people were good and the place was clean.

Grizzly Peak was top-notched. I would recommend this place. It's clean, but it had to be more affordable.
