We had an excellent experience at Lorien in Elkridge. From the front office staff to every tech and nurse who saw my grandmother, everyone treated her with kindness and respect. Tracy at the front desk was always warm and welcoming whenever we visited. Franklin was a wonderful tech who made my grandmother feel safe and well cared for, and Angie did a fantastic job bringing a smile to her face each morning. Sheila and Fran were also wonderful with her. The physical therapy team provided great support and made the transition from rehab to home as smooth as possible. We could not have asked for better care and highly recommend Lorien!

My wife is staying in Lorien Elkridge for skilled nursing. I like it a lot. They take really good care of her. They seem to be very dedicated to the job. The facility is in impeccable condition. It's clean. At the moment, they are trying to get her movement back a little bit and to get her back healed up. She's in a semi-private room divided by a curtain. It's a nice, clean room with a big window. They put a special bed in there for her that's inflatable to help with the wound. The food - I'll say the same thing about all hospital food. It can use a little flavor.

I am a family member of a current resident of Lorien Elkridge and had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with the Director of Nursing. She was very knowledgeable in explaining my loved one's condition and appreciate the time she spent in ensuring I understood the condition of my family member. The other staff within the nursing home/rehab were also great and willing to do anything needed to make my family member and our family feel comfortable. The room was clean. We need more nursing staff and nursing homes like this one.

My husband is in Lorien Elkridge for physical and occupational therapy. He's doing much better now and he's going to be discharged soon. He's getting excellent care here. They have excellent OT and PT services. The staff is very much in tune with what's going on and they have been excellent. They provide transportation when my husband goes to his orthopedic surgeon. Overall, it's a great facility but the food is a bit mediocre.

My grandmother's at Lorien Elkridge. She's in the nursing home part and she likes it there. She's confused, so, I think it's hard for her to give her opinion. But we've been happy with everything there. The staff has been great so far. We can bring whatever we want in with her. They've been very nice to her. We like the place. It's clean and nice. We are getting everything that we need.

My husband is a patient, I have been very impressed with everything from the minute I walked in the door. Staff is helpful and caring. Rooms are clean, food is appetizing, and other patients are out of room socializing and friendly. My husband was seen by the Physician's Assistant on admission, and Physical Therapist the next morning. I know he is in good hands and I have been able to sleep soundly for the first time in weeks.
