This was originally an old house so rooms are small but adequate. My friend loves it there. Likes the food and socializing with other residents. Staff is friendly and helpful when I visit.

Rooms are small and cramped with two people, most share restrooms. Whole home smells like urine and feces in some areas, plus the staff are extremely rude and do not tend well to the residents.

Northeastern

The rooms are small and offer little privacy. Some staff are very helpful; others are too busy to be concerned.

most of the rooms are small and crowded and dirty, as there is no housekeeping staff. interactions with the staff usually achieve nothing positive. the residents are generally over-medicated and spend an inordinate amount of time drooling in their laps, not what i would call an activity. as for amenities, unless you consider food made toxic from preparation in decades-old cookware and dirty bathrooms nearly unfit to use amenities, it is my opinion there were none.

Berwick Estates is a very old facility. At first, we were a little concernws because when my mother-in-law was admitted when it was very cold. But the facility has been more than adequate. The staff is just wonderful and very nice. My mother-in-law says the food is good. The residents seem quite happy there. They have lots of activities and the activity director is really wonderful. They play bingo, sing hymns, play all kinds of memory games, movies and popcorn. They're very busy and the place seem really pleasant. She is adjusting well and she likes it. Her family is happy that she's nearby. I find her room too small. It's a major concern to me, but it's adequate.
